I read that December’s shopping will determine whether 2012 is in fact the year ebooks edge out physical books, or if that will happen in 2013. Regardless, it’s coming soon.Continue reading

Announcement: a new book is coming soon
So you knew I was working on bringing Kitsune-Mochi to you, right? Did you know I’m also working on a non-fiction book?
My day job is in behavior, animal behavior specifically (though I’m also certified in TAGteach), and I’m working on a book in that field.Continue reading
Self-Publishing, Royalties, and Self-Worth
So I just got an email notifying me of my first Kitsune-Tsuki royalties. So of course I had to tweet about it.
First KITSUNE-TSUKI royalties arrived. There's more than one digit before decimal point. Look, I have totally justified my writerly stuffs.

Of course, I knew that I wasn’t putting out Kitsune-Tsuki for money. That’s good, because all single-digit humor aside, percentages on a 99¢ ebook ($4.99 in paperback) are not exactly going to pay for a trip to a warmer climate. Continue reading

Site Renovation :)
As you might have noticed, the site just got a major facelift. I think everything’s working, but if you notice anything out of place, please let me know.
In related news, the blog is now on Networked Blogs, so feel free to follow if that’s your thing.
In unrelated news, some cool stuff should be coming out shortly. Stay tuned. :)
Amazon Deals on KITSUNE-TSUKI
Retail news! Not only is Kitsune-Tsuki now available in paperback (say, here, for example), but it’s eligible for Amazon’s 4-for-3 promotion — which means if you add Kitsune-Tsuki to an order of three books, you get it free.
Of course, it’s in ebook at Amazon, too, and at Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords, and pretty much everywhere else you can find ebooks for sale.
And because I hate just flogging my stuff, please go look at the pretty pictures on the KITSUNE-TSUKI Pinterest board. There’s some work from really talented photographers, origami artists, and more.
And in case you don’t like that for some reason, here’s a picture of a cute puppy.
