The Third Day of Kitsune – Wordless Wednesday kitsune images

This entry is part 3 of 12 in the series Twelve Days of Kitsune

I don’t usually do a Wordless Wednesday post — for one thing, I’m pretty bad at “wordless” — but here are some fantastic pictures I collected for research and inspiration while working on Kitsune-Tsuki and Kitsune-Mochi.

If you like these, be sure to check out the Kitsune-Tsuki/Kitsune-Mochi Pinterest board!

This is what Kaede-dono might have worn, or something like it; the story takes place just after the Heian era, during the Kamakura, but fashion doesn’t typically change overnight. Yes, it was very heavy (around 30 pounds)!

Devil's Punch Bowl

Shh! This was shot in New Zealand — but I love the feel of it for the mountains in Kitsune-Tsuki, anyway.

  1. Hi would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using?
I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having
a tough time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and
I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S My apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
