Your film reminded me: Way back – aka more than 40 years ago – One of Greg’s college roommates was an architecture major and one of his assignments was to watch a Japanese film on the effects of an earthquake shaking houses built on landfill. We all watched with him in near horror…the earthquake shook the ground so much that water rose up, turned the ground into liquid mud, and the houses sank straight down.
